OK. Definitely not normal behavior. Have it looked at when you can; fortunately not a debilitating issue.

When you say "turn off" you mean that the color reverts to the original color or completely goes dark? If it is the latter, I can say with certainty that it has not happened to me. I have to admit I don't pay enough attention the actual color to notice if it reverts inappropriately.

We have a lot of Taycans here in the New York City area. Lots of Teslas, Taycans, a couple of Rivians, a couple of Lucids, an increasing amount of Ioniq 5s, and even a couple of Mustang Mach Es. It would be hard for me to take even a short drive without seeing at least one of them.

Are you sure that this is the glass? The reason that I ask is that other devices that you have probably still have good GPS signals. Does your phone properly report your map position, for example? I find it hard to believe that a device mounted to the actual windshield is having its GPS...

Mine do move backward and forward, but I have not noticed that they rattle in either position. Candidly, my wife hates it forward, so I'm not sure how often it is ever in that position.
