Tip: During fall and winter, I always store a small moisture absorber hidden under a seat in my vehicles to reduce risk of damp inside the cabin. It helps in wet and cold conditions when the humidity is higher. Also make sure your floor mats are not wet during this season.
Fog in the headlamps...
It was said (rapidly in Spanish at 3:40) that the GTS had RAS ;) But I agree it would be interesting to see how much better with PDCC. I can‘t remember if the previous KM77-test with TBS had the PDCC option.
Misalignment of the rear spoiler is a known problem, and Porsche has a solution for this. I had the same thing, and was told there were a number of Taycans also waiting for the same repair in Norway. Mine was fixed, I don't really know what they did but it hasn't happened again since and it...
My Porsche Center informed me earlier when this problem always occurs repetitive, that Porsche is working on a repair or a replacement part. That is a long time ago now, but still no fix. This is obviously a design flaw, as the design (according to my sales representative) has changed on the...
There is nor alpha, beta or gamma radiation from your vehicle, but somewhat less electromagnetic exposure (also written as a kind of radiation). But this will be, when you sit inside an electric car, even less than the radiation you are exposed to when you talk on your mobile phone. . . and...
@tigerbalm
Sir, you have driven much further in my country Norway, than I ever have. It is extremely embarrassing to say, but I haven’t been further north than Trondheim. I hereby degrade myself from the Viking I thought I was, to "Viking-light", until my frayed reputation is restored. I am...
Okay, I hereby withdraw my complaint about punitive restrictions here in Norway, and now understand that things are not so bad after all in this country. Even though the speed limit is way too low in my eyes, we are not punished that much compared to others who are worse off. I think there is...
The reason why the limits here in Norway are so low, is that visitors can enjoy the view of our beautiful nature. . . without speeding. Too bad this also applies to us natives Norwegians who are trapped in this cold country, while we freeze our butts off.
Still, Porsches are kind of made to...
Correct, the price in Norway per kWh is 1.85 NOK (approx 0.18 Euro), for Ionity that is. Try to avoid any other chargers, if possible. Even Porsche chargers at Porsche Centers are more expensive, some of them I have been charged up to 5-6 kroner per kWh (aprox 0.5-0.6 Euro).
So to keep it...
How on earth do you manage to keep your Porsche so clean and shiny, all the long way from Ireland? When I drive on the very same roads you are now, my black batmobile becomes dirty just after a few miles. So do you include wash and polish on your charging pit-stops on the tour as well? Just...
A question a little outside of this post, but perhaps still relevant: Porsche's 8-year warranty replaces the main battery if the power is below 70 percent / 160,000 km (100,000 miles). Right? Just to be safe, at the next service in the autumn of 2022 I will ask my Porsche Center to give the...
@Perry
I recommend that you treat your Olea skin with "Swiss-Wax Leather Milk". I do, and it works really well. When I notice the beginning of stretch marks on the side of the seats (the weak area made by getting in/out of the Porsche), I rinse and use this treatment. The seats look like...
@Perry
Thank you Daniel - I appreciate all those pictures :like:
I fell of the sofa over here, and hit my head, I’m just stunned :whew: My TS is not bad at all, by all means - but all that leather . . . all over . . . everywhere - really, really nice. You have more German cows covered inside...
@ciaranob
Thank you for the pictures - I appreciate that :captain:
Black & and red is very sporty and nice I think !! I thought about it myself, but my wife wouldn’t let me, so my TS is all black & black . . . just like my soul :cool:
@Perry
Nice, very nice indeed? . . . and I love the contrast stitching!
Could you please take som close up photos, and post the following:
- Seat consoles in leather front
- Leather inner door sill guards and B-pillars trim (Ím very curios on this one actually)
- Leather door trim package...
Ouch - I´m very sorry to see this, and I can surely feel your pain! Bet your wife was sad too, poor thing ? Hopefully you love her more, or as much as your Porsche ?
PS What about some stripes to hide it all, and a few stars maybe to match your home country? It will juuuuust about cover that...

After the video, also check out this Top Gear article...
Well, it sounds the same to me from your video. I definitely agree it shouldńt be sounding like this on a premium vehicle. The km on my TS is about to round 20K now, and I haven’t heard the noise since spring this year. If you feel it is annoying, you should absolutely address this issue to your...
I had the same «froggy-sound» for a while when my vehicle was brand new. However after some time it went away, and I have not experienced it since. I suggest you wait and see for a while, and if not disappear, let your Porsche center take a look at it.
Apparently I´m not the only one with the problem coating peeling on the crest emblem. Are we seeing more of this on the Taycan and other Porsche models as time go by? Fast forward to 27 sec in the video and take a look:
