  1. Issues ive had within first 4 weeks of ownership

While that does suck for a new ownership. Consider yourself lucky as it could be allot worse with this car.
  2. New here, did the dealer launch my car?

Thanks for all the replies guys. Didn’t think it would be a problem but never seen any discussions on it.
  4. Car Wash & CCB’s

so you have run prior cars of yours with ccb through the wash? I may be being overly paranoid just note trying to spend 11-20k for having a clean car.
  5. On the fence

I would personally just do a one year lease on a gen 1.1 Turbo or Turbo S. There are still some crazy good deals out there. Not really any great deals on the 1.2 even with the dealers massively discounting them.
  6. Car Wash & CCB’s

Just curious how many owners with carbon ceramic rotors run their cars through the car wash. Can’t seem to find much information on if it’s a problem for the carbon ceramic discs or not. This is my daily and I don’t have time to wash it a couple times a week and like to keep a clean car. Not...
  7. New here, did the dealer launch my car?

Doesn’t seem likely but it could have happened. Either way I wouldn’t sweat it, it’s a lease anyways.
  8. Ioniq 5N - Test Drive vs my TT ST

Nice write up and summary. Briefly considered a 5N after I sold my turbo but ended up in a new civic type R. Never got a chance to drive the 5N but it peaked my interest. Anyways three weeks later and I got another Taycan turbo S couldn’t stay away.

  13. New Lease

So if I understand that correctly Porsche gives up to 5,000 off for anything above invoice? Once invoice is reached they will match any additional discount under invoice up to an additional 5,000?
  14. New Lease

Is anyone on the board currently aware of the leasing situation for Taycans this month? I have the residuals and etc but am unsure on Porsches current discount match. I know they will match the dealers discount but not sure the parameters of it.
  15. Thoughts on driving differences between RWD and AWD

It can pass them but it is not effortless like the awd one. You can tell your hauling 6,000lbs. Does not feel like an electric car power wise on the highway. For the daily stuff on the city streets I agree it’s plenty. everyone has different thresholds though. I even thought the turbo was a...
  16. Thoughts on driving differences between RWD and AWD

Had extensive experience with both. The rwd is a little bit more playful but is just too slow. It’s fine for the 20-40 range but it just isn’t enough if you want to pass someone on the highway. AWD any day as they come with a good amount of power and don’t give up much with dynamics.
  17. Leased 2025 Taycan 4

    Nice spec
  18. Leased 2025 Taycan 4

    Congrats and welcome
  19. US Auto Insurance

1,000 for 12 months is cheap. No Accidents or speeding tickets for me or my wife and we were almost double that.
