Couldn't have said it better myself... 1000 EA charge stations means 500 working charge stations, most of which will operate at about half their rated speed even in perfect conditions. IMO they should have forced VW to keep the VW brand on these stations so they *might* consider brand...

So I figured out how to get three legit kid seats in the back of the Taycan. Some formulae work for some cars and not for others, so I think I'd share mine:
Center: Clek Fllo. It mounts rear-facing without the LATCH system (Taycan doesn't have it in the center.) It's narrow, and works from...
FWIW, my 2022 Turbo has the same issue. No white LED ring around the passenger-side cable release button, so the cable is essentially "stuck" unless I pull the manual release string. I've not yet tried using the PCM, but having read this, now I will. The manual string method really sucks.
This...
I had a kid (maybe 16-18 yrs old) see the car and then open his window and say "I want to be like you when I grow up." So... basically he called me old. I am only 40 ;-) Negative attention.
I drove to work 10 miles on sport plus, changed to normal mode to get over the (aggressive!) speed bumps in the parking lot, then turned off the car and charged from about 70% to full over the course of 5-6 hrs. Then took the pic on Range mode.
I’d say in my 5k miles I’ve been on Sport Plus 30%...
Not 100% sure but I expect the "Range Mode" automatically set it to "ECO A/C." I keep it at 70ºF but I also live in Northern Cali so that is the outside temperature 300 days per year ;-)
Just got ANA6 on my 2022 TCT T.
At 100% charge (I usually only go to 85% but was curious) I show 278 miles in Range mode. I'd never seen more than 256 before the update. Just a data point.
Well that's what I get for just looking at the thumbnails! I was serious, but now I see. Either way, I think the new headlight are much less courageous and they are one of my favorite details of the (now) previous design.
Sweet, this looks awesome. Congrats. I have been considering going gold with Neptune Blue CT for maximum Subaru ;-).
Do watch out with the offset and without the plastic arches you're going to scratch up your car real quick. You might want to get some protective films in the vulnerable zones.
It's really the subsequent launches that seem to do it- I am not going to crazy high speeds. Launch mode unlocks something like 670hp on the Turbo and on a 90º+ day it only takes maybe 6 of 'em! My kids freaking love it though- they don't mind the AC turning off, hah!
Hey Will- hope all's well. FWIW, in my TCT Turbo, I do see that message after several subsequent aggressive launches and/or spirited driving in Sport and Sport+. Particularly when it's hot outside. I've seen it maybe half a dozen times over the 4k miles I've got on my Taycan. I wonder if it's...
Just incase this is useful information: My MY22 Turbo CT was also recalled for this same issue. I have only experienced the issue once (I'm at 3k miles and 7 months), but I was on a road trip w/ the kids and it was a pain not to be able to use Nav etc. on the car's screens, adjust drive modes, etc..
Hahaha I thought this the first time I heard it open when the dealer was delivering my car and showing me the ropes. Quality fittings, quality design, nice materials, wow, wow, and then… unmarked white van in reverse.
Fun to see the vid of my car getting wrapped! You did such an awesome job with this, Wilson. 2.5k miles in now with plenty of gravel hits etc. and it’s holding up great so far. Near flawless. -Fletch
I'm in. Just need to confirm you can support bikes with wheelbase up to 56". About 4" longer than most "normal" bikes. I use a cargo bike :)
I will be honest, I'd prefer if you just made a "Taycan CT to 2-inch standard trailer hitch adapter" which would work with so many cargo trays and bike...
