My experience, RFID cards work instantly 100% of the time on EVgo chargers. Same with Chargepoint chargers as well.

Are you sure the 14-50 pigtail is fully pulgged into the charger?

You can get glue that may make it invisible. Windshield repair co use it as well. I had good luck repairing one myselg. Because it's in the field of vision may need to replace it.

Now that Tesla is selling a CCS adapter for cheap and EA is cheaper than Tesla SuCrs expect to see Teslas at CCS chargers as well.
