Or is the sport sound louder since the software upgrade? Also in sport mode it seems more aggressive than it did before (lovely "down shift" noise).
FYI high voltage heater was fixed in less than a week in the end - good result.
We used to own a DB11 and a beautiful 3 coat red Maserati GT. These are loud, shouty and relatively exotic cars that say "look at me" (less so the DB11 which just has the cool factor). The Taycan is, for better or worse, very common and has not drawn any attention so far. No more "nice car mate"...
Mine went in last week, no ETA on the parts, just an estimate of 2 weeks. If I wanted the AA to recover it to Porsche that would have been another 2 weeks just to wait for the recovery! Thankfully a crisp morning with low humidity made the drive OK. Has anyone in the UK managed to keep their...
My friend has it on his iX - nice gimmick but ultimately pointless. Maybe if you live in LA, but then as has been said, surely you would want a black out in case of extreme sun but I can say that even when the UK was 40 degrees I never felt hot under the glass roof (with the A/C on!).
I have same issue when wife has keys in her pocket. I turn off, get out first and close door, then if she has a key on her, despite the driver's side door having never been re-opened it will switch the car back on. Maybe the pressure censor works for passenger and driver's seat. You'd think it...
I'd say it's equivalent to an M4, maybe an M5 but the latter has more focus on the back seat comfort. I'd say both of those are "high performance vehicles" if not sports cars and the word "sedan" doesn't really exist in England although I refuse to call the Taycan a "saloon" as it is not a Ford...
Do hope you get it sorted mate, these little things build up to become so frustrating! Especially such a lovely Gentian blue beast. I generally charge at home with the 7 ish kw charger and when I have driven down to Devon (225 miles) have been able to plug in and charge without issue at 3/4...
No change in the PCM post update.
But wow - 3 weeks in the Range Rover and you really appreciate the speed, handling, noise, and just how well put together the Taycan is. The RR is stately and wafty - the Taycan just kills hits all the notes. Tight tiger that is as comfortable as it is fast...
If the question is should I get an etron GT in Q1 2023 or wait an additional year for a Taycan - I would get the etron GT.
I LOVE the Taycan but given those metrics it seems a no-brainer.
