Read the thread yesterday and thought I would give it a go, as I also do not charge at home, but have a departure set for 0730, as that is the time I head out to school run/work. I changed the departure time to 0815 last night, but stepped in to a cold car this morning at 0730 (ambient was 6...
I was hoping that carmats UK would have one for the Cross Turismo, the same as we have in the IX3 as I found this sort of quilted liner, with a no slip backing worked really well. They have said that the one on their website only fits the standard shape Taycan, but if anyone with a Cross...
Just out of interest, can you check your Porsche monthly billing when it comes through. I used the Porsche card on Osprey last month and when the bill came through, I got a charge for KWh used (£0.31) and also a charge for time (£0.22 per min). 10.5KWh delivered in 9 minutes cost on average...
I’ve been an EV driver since 2016, so fully drinking the koolaid, but it is a shame that there are so many variables than can affect DC charging speeds. I regularly use Chippenham Ionity and almost always get 260KW as I will have the charger set as a stop in nav, will be less than 20% SOC on...
Appreciate this is not the US, but here is a snapshot of the public 22KW points in the UK.
One thing I have found useful is situations where there is a CCS/Type2/Chademo charge point. Often someone will be plugged in to the DC connector, but because I have the 22KW AC option, I can still get a...
For me, my work place has 20KW chargers installed, so I can get a full charge well within the working day and then free up the charge point for others.
That's funny, as I used the exact same phrase to describe my X5. I also had a Mercedes 320te (sportline too :-) ) and a C7 RS6 and both were soooo much more practical for load space than the X5 for general family use..
I guess the cabin felt a little more 'boxy' for the rear passengers, and...
Further expansion of Ionity in the UK.

Kind of see the logic in having 350KW at a hotel, if you can use it to pull in people who are not staying overnight to use/pay for the facilities (coffee/food etc.).
Seeing the extent of hotel...
I put my VIN in to this address. My car is within the date range, but came up with no recalls

I think I would file it under 'too good to be true'.
The way I read it, is that Bip&Go is an aggregator that gets you access to nearly all the charing points in France, without needing accounts or cards for each of the different networks. For that privilege you pay either an extra 20 cts...
Can't speak to durability, but I would use these (as with Sea Sucker) as an occasional thing, rather than long term, permanent attachment.
The suction cups do have a red indicator tab that shows when the suction has lost a little 'grip' which is easy to do a visual inspection and pump a little...
No remote button in the i3 for the hatch thankfully, Certainly got a few odd looks driving back in to the city, but then we did the same with a 10ft Christmas tree later than year.
Absolutely loved the i3, then the i3s. Felt like a proper go cart around city streets
That looks brilliant. Method of attachment looks very similar to Sea Sucker and I used the Bomber 3 bike carrier on out BMW i3, and that was a roof that was not supposed to take anything either.
The individual sucker pads also doubled up nicely for transporting back the odd piece of driftwood...
My thoughts, from being a relatively new owner with just under 1,000 miles done (all down to personal choice as you say):
- Wheels. If you drive on crappy roads like you say, then 20” wheels might be a better choice.
- Interior. I went with black/atacoma with silver paint and was nervous about...
