As @SoccerMan94043 mentioned, this is just the consensus/interpretation around here.
Coming myself from a family of (French) lawyer, I actually think such interpretation would be an "abusive" definition of "wear and tear".
However, even if I was right on the principle, it might be very...
wise choice, worry free :)
I'm eyeing the Cayenne as well (was an SUV guy my whole life before the T Turbo lol).
I just realised it doesn't have the PAR (Porsche Active Ride) ?
Couldn't spec it on normal/Turbo, and it's not listed in the default options, unless I'm mistaken!
I stick to "normal" because of the range, but I almost prefer when I'm in "lift" <30km because the steering column gets stiffer so I don't feel like really loosing handling and it's mostly more comfortable, I suspect that if the limit was 50km/h instead of 30, and I didn't have the Rear steering...
héhé thanks @CoolDadLo :)
I'd like to keep it enough time to have a wider range of EV options on the used market, ie ~3 years.
Best scenario would be to find a used MY25 which fits, otherwise going for option #1 this 4S black edition that I turned sky blue is really great looking isn't it ? lol...
you're absolutely right, exact same feeling when I think of it lol...
I thought I couldn't swap the original 21" for 20" or even 19" because there might be some structural impossibility, or costly brakes type changing as well, stupid me.
So it's as simple as removing the 21" and fitting in 19"...
could almost sell you my MY20 Turbo as I'm thinking of swapping it for a MY25/26 with PAR for maximum range & confort - but I can confirm the Turbo is really fun :)
61K$ definitely a good price, not sure where you'll land in Europe but here in France it's absolutely impossible to find such...
Thanks @prj, @CoolDadLo, @Crazymind,
Yep, I wasn't doubting your assessment of the Black Edition being the best bang for bucks right now. 18-way + massage isn't possible, so probably going for 14+massage, better for my back :)
& this power module is definitely a very interesting option.
I tried...
Hi guys,
My MY20 Turbo Mission E w/RWS has beautiful looks but after a lot of reading here, I'm starting to wonder if I should switch to a MY25 or 26 with different model/spec to improve the points I don't like (everything else is great).
Rear wheel steering : this post describes exactly what...
exactly why I fall for it every time, I know I should take 20'' for better comfort, but I fell for my Turbo 21 Mission E. Same why I can never go for a CT or ST, can't resolve myself seeing this as a sports car lol
Thanks @prj so if I understand correctly, the maximum comfort on everyday roads in the city, as well as good handling in the countryside is : Cross Turismo MY25 or later + 20'' tires + Active Ride ?
Will it be as good with a J1.2 sedan ? (I really don't like the look of the CT :-( ).
In other...
Thanks for the job @chun !
In case it helps, I complained before buying my used MY20 Turbo (no Android Auto), they delivered me a 3885, and I haven't had a single problem since ~2 months (haven't used much the internal GPS though, mainly Maps)
Interesting @SergeyIndy thanks, is there a statistics as to how much % of the kwh injected in the battery are "lost" to conversion/efficiency or whatever ?
Just curious because I calculated (just twice) how many points of battery I gained after DC charging & compared it to my invoice : e.g. they...
I use the normal view in some parking situations to avoid the exagerated distorsion of the 360°, indeed, but then you loose the directional lines in the image, which isn't great.
As many said, I've seen much better camera systems in many cars (not to brag again about my Xpeng G9P, the image...
well, I drove my Xpeng G9 Performance during almost a year, never had any bug.
It's vastly superior to my T Turbo obviously, but even slightly better in my opinion than Tesla's (my GF had 2 in 3 years)
my Turbo is soon 6 years and only 38K kilometers, but it's true there are only a few like this with low mileage out there
same for me lol, I don't care much since I knew it would keep loosing value. I'm on the upside thinking with you, Dee, Jasper4S, "Pierre" (he knows who he is lol) etc
wow, 19% = 200km with 90% residual SoH ? ie ~1000km 90% = ~1100km when the vehicle was new.
Even if it's what the car is thinking, ie a "CLTC" (Chinese cycle) estimation, it's still huge, even if of course the 140kwh are definitely a huge help.
If you convert it to WLTP cycle and ~105Kwh battery...
if I may, check out the Mercedes GLC hybrid MY23-25 : I've test drived it several times, you absolutely need one with the "Technical Pack" option (air suspension + rear wheels steering), it's behaviour is insanely good for an SUV, and when you set it to "offroad" it's almost an even better ride...
