I don't want drive firmware updated OTA. I'd prefer the car is where they can fix it when things go bad.

Of the chargers I used between SF Bay area and Vegas, it's the easiest. It's at a WalMart, and there are a ton of chargers in 2 spots. The bathroom at the WalMart is right in the front too.

We mostly just drove past Pinnacles. The drive wasn't long enough that we would've needed mid-drive charging anyway. The campground would just be equivalent to a level 2 charger, meaning you'd only ever use it in an emergency.

And at full pedal, I only got to 101F in Sport Plus today... :D

You can also avoid it by starting Waze before CarPlay connects.

Move foot in not too fast right under the plate, hold for half a second then remove and wait. It takes it a second to realize something happened.

Have to do it from the phone. Waze isn’t crashing, it’s failing to exit sleep mode. Something changed in CarPlay last year that hosed it up.

What I've found about Homelink is not so much that it's short range, rather that it depends on where I trigger it. It works farther out, and if I get in a range it wont work, and then works again as I get really close. I try to trigger while the car is turning now to sweep it across the garage. :P

If that was an ordered car, I would've walked. Then again, if it wasn't I would've walked too. I'm guessing not many Porsche dealers in your area?

It's not redundant in the US, it's completely useless as it doesn't allow access to the internet. They should just disable it here so it doesn't confuse people, as nobody should ever connect to it.

If you wanted lemon your car, if they didn't take your first request, you should be talking to a lemon law lawyer, and not posting on an internet forum until you get your case resolved... (unless your lawyer says you can post details online)
