Of the chargers I used between SF Bay area and Vegas, it's the easiest. It's at a WalMart, and there are a ton of chargers in 2 spots. The bathroom at the WalMart is right in the front too.
Normal mode doesn't use 1st gear normally, so there's some benefit in that. Sport Plus is also purposefully warming up the battery.

We mostly just drove past Pinnacles. The drive wasn't long enough that we would've needed mid-drive charging anyway. The campground would just be equivalent to a level 2 charger, meaning you'd only ever use it in an emergency.
The lease is likely through Porsche, and they wont care about some 3rd party tracker, so feel free to rip it out of there. But you're still hosed out of $1k.
What I've found about Homelink is not so much that it's short range, rather that it depends on where I trigger it. It works farther out, and if I get in a range it wont work, and then works again as I get really close.
I try to trigger while the car is turning now to sweep it across the garage. :P
It's not redundant in the US, it's completely useless as it doesn't allow access to the internet. They should just disable it here so it doesn't confuse people, as nobody should ever connect to it.
If you wanted lemon your car, if they didn't take your first request, you should be talking to a lemon law lawyer, and not posting on an internet forum until you get your case resolved... (unless your lawyer says you can post details online)
