2023 CT not connecting to app

My 2023 CT stopped connecting through the app. All was good for about 9 months. I have tried logging on and off. Reinstalling the app. Still can’t connect. The little circle keeps spinning until it turns red. Never had a problem connecting before (same locations). Anything else I can try before taking it in?

@rjdoc74 A couple of suggestions:
EDIT: Porsche has moved all remote connection services from the website to the app.

Make sure privacy mode in the car is deactivated.

When you are in the car, does PCM upper right show LTE (or 4G for 2025 models) symbol?

If not
(you see double horizontal lines with slash through them), your car does not have cellular data connection with Porsche servers. Without LTE or 4G/data connection, there is no remote access.
If PCM does not have LTE or 4G/data connection, wait a day or two. It happens - may be due to Porsche servers - and often comes back on its own.

[Edit] Do NOT do a factory reset of PCM if the car does not show LTE or 4G/data connection symbol.
--Factory reset usually does nothing to fix no LTE or 4G.
--Factory reset deletes your accounts in PCM. You cannot re-add your account in PCM until LTE or 4G/datacomm service is restored.

If you have LTE or 4G/data connection at PCM, and privacy mode is deactivated, normally what the app and website will show is error message saying something like "no remote access, disable privacy mode (or add your user account to the car)."

If that is the situation, then try @tchavei's method of adding user again in PCM described here: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/no-remote-access-via-app.16190/page-2#post-251539
Edited to include 4G symbol in 2025 models.

Thank you so much. Seems like the car is not getting connected to LTE. The LTE symbol is crossed out and weather and news apps are grayed out on PCM. I will wait a few days before making a service appointments.

I've had that twice on my MY23 4SCT. It will come back... First time it lost connectivity for 24 hours, second time 6 days. I'm pretty sure it is related to server end rather than the car. Porsche are regularly working on servers and occasionally migrate users to new servers which can cause the loss of connectivity for a while. A visit to your OPC will sort it as they can reset the comms module. I twice cancelled bookings as LTE came back before my appointment

Thank you. It has been 5 days so far. I booked an appointment for this Thursday. We will see.

Service rep had me confirm no lte displayed on upper right corner of pcm. No lte so she said service reset required. Will let ya know what happens.

Mine did the same thing for almost a week. No LTE and Weather and News apps grayed out. Came back on it's own like nothing happened. I'd wait a few more days if I were you before taking it in.
