I only accidentally happened upon the right button click. I'd read a lot of people setting up one of the 2x configurable buttons for skipping and found that odd :) (Clicking on other tube choices has mixed results in terms of what it shows. Sometimes useful, sometimes not :)

The passenger screen only comes on with a passenger sat in there by design. I actually meant to leave media showing in the central main display (not the passenger one), and to show your nav map in the driver display centre :)

Bits of the PCM irked me when I first had the car, but they're largely an irrelevance now, save for the 5x things mentioned :) I've done close to 30k miles in the car and things that bother you in the first month or two fade into the background really when everything else works OK.
I tried the right button turned to media and unfortunately it’s really not helpful for changing stations or presets. Just scrolls through every possible radio or XM.

What I hoped was a simple seek forward or back for favorites. They definitely over complicated it so it can’t do basic functions.

I do not know about Taycan joker’s two buttons but the Macan EV only has one. It does however how a factory one that moves the station one only forward, so I set its one joker button to move the station backwards (solving this issue between them both).

Hopefully someone here has figured out how to use the two Taycan joker buttons to accomplish same.

You could but one is steering wheel, other is to the side.

I programmed the side one for my garage door and that’s too convenient to replace.

I'm in the UK and we don't get XM radio...I use it for DAB.

This probably has around 100 stations, maybe 200, but they're alphabetically organised, and you can scroll pretty quickly through them.

It's certainly no "one forward or backward" option if the stations you want don't happen to be close alphabetically - though fortunately I seem to listen primarily to two blocks of stations that are very close :)

The "List" view on the main screen, along with Favourites, is probably best if you have a number of favourite stations scattered all over the place. But as above you can't access these through the button.

(I *think* I've seen it working in Favourites by first using the button/list on some other media source - "priming" it - and then trying Favourites...but couldn't be certain that worked! It might have been moving between DAB and USB sources :)).

If TheDrive is correct that the 2027 Taycans get a virtual PDK with sound-and-torque imitating shifts and also “big updates to the PCM infotainment system,” do you think the 2027 Taycans might also as part of that infotainment upgrade get the optional augmented reality HUD that the Macan EV has and is an option on the Cayenne EV?

If so re pricing, whereas the Taycan’s regular HUD is $1,760, the Macan and the Cayenne’s augmented HUDs are $2,660 and $2,990 respectively, e.g., another more expensive Taycan option coming down the road?

The 2027 Taycan’s virtual PDK was reported by TheDrive two months ago (in OP of this thread).

The Drive is doubling down today adding these two sentences to their major (not unique) post of today that was just posted elsewhere in this forum, that the fate of the Cayenne and the Baxter EV is being decided today.

Tucked within that major separate issue/article, is TheDrive again reporting this major upcoming Taycan news (though more/background details in the OP of this thread).

TheDrive said:
Likely set for the electric 718 twins, but coming to the Taycan later this year, Porsche developed fake gear shifts to mimic a transmission. The system would be a copy, in concept, to what is found in the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, which Porsche was impressed with.

Save on plugged-in USB?
I’m not following you 🤷‍♂️
What to save…i’d just like to have normal view of rear camera 🤦🏻‍♂️
I use the normal view in some parking situations to avoid the exagerated distorsion of the 360°, indeed, but then you loose the directional lines in the image, which isn't great.
As many said, I've seen much better camera systems in many cars (not to brag again about my Xpeng G9P, the image quality in itself wasn't as good as Mercedes' GLC MY25 for example, but the overall convenience, result, user-friendly experience was significantly superior).
