My 2024 Taycan CT4S is in the shop to get some recall work done. The Porsche service person sent me a video indicating my front tires has excessive inner wear (about 12K miles on the car) which he says is due to the 15mm spacers I have on the car causing excessive toe out. The car has about 12,000 miles on it.

I don't think adding spacers have any effect on toe as it does nothing to change the alignment settings. However, I do drive the car in the lowest mode about half the time and the other half of the time, my wife drives the car in normal mode.

Do you think the uneven tire wear is due to driving the car in the lowest mode half the time? Or is there any truth to the dealer service tech saying my 15mm spacers is messing up the toe settings? FWIW, rear tires are totally fine and it also has 15mm rear spacers.

They quoted me $1,075 to replace front tires and $1,195 for four wheel alignment w/ front camera and ACC calibration.

My GTS ST also wears out the front tires like that. It doesn't last more than 13,000km.
The seller tells me to limit driving in low mode. Actually when it's low the camber is more accentuated and could have an effect.
But I drive it very little in low mode, so I don't know.
However I don't think the spacers have anything to do with it.
I have 56.000km on the car and no spacers.
Here two front tyres are about 700 Euro.

This topic is covered in many prior threads on this forum, and there’s general consensus that the aspects of Porsche suspension setup that give it awesome handling characteristics also chew through the inner tread edge. This is exacerbated when you drive in a lower suspension setting than was used when the car was last aligned. I always ask the shop to put my Taycan in Sport before checking alignment, since that’s the setting I drive in. Since adopting this approach, my tires last much longer than the first two sets I replaced.
