Wow, did you get any associated documentation by e-mail or so? Surprised (happy?) to see Porsche evolve its OTA updates from low-impact functions such as map updates to seemingly high-impact ones such as the main battery management software.

I got the WNW2 OTA update yesterday (2023-02-24). Installation went okay. However, this morning the PCM didn’t started. The two finger reboot fixed the problem. Don’t know if it is related to the update.

Better degradation protection with DC charging, unless it’s a 24 month lease, I would avoid DC, as much as possible and stay below 85% SoC. Degradation mitigation seems to be a thing.

There have been other significant OTA updates issued last year so this is likely not a 'first.

Frustrating that little documentation is ever provided.

All we ever receive OTA in the US is map and other meaningless updates and at the most inconvenient times I might add.

If it downloaded to my car, it’s at the end of a long list of updates I’ve never run. Don’t even know where to find them at this point.

That's not actually true and depends on when you got your car, if your dealer hadn't already applied it, and which region you reside.

Many of ius in EU had a major update OTA (power drive related) around summer time last year and prior to the major recall for uPdate.

If it downloaded to my car, it’s at the end of a long list of updates I’ve never run. Don’t even know where to find them at this point.

If anything is waiting to be applied there will be a note in the PCM Notification screen.

If you have had the car at a dealers then chances are they will applied all outstanding ones.

Little point therefore to not auto apply.
