owthis is incorrect - EVSE's are different beasts than most devices plugged in…
there is _NO_ power flowing if the car is not requesting it - it's a strict on/off affair - now leaving an EVSE plugged in may cause the vehicle to "start/stop" a charging session to top off the battery - but power Is not flowing continuously…
my Tesla's would charge about every 5 days after the battery was topped off to restore single digit percentages lost to vampire draw - but power is NOT flowing if the vehicle isn't requesting it.
leaving an EVSE plugged in will not cause "constant" power load - this is easily "seen" with EV chargers that have status (such as the PMCC) - no power is flowing once the battery is topped off or waiting to start a charging session.
owner's manual says leave it plugged in - doesn't say it will trickle charge - I agree with leaving it plugged in.Owner's manual supports my comment.

it will charge on/off to maintain profile settings, but power will not flow continuously - when profile drops out of "range" car will charge according to profile at full power - given Taycan's limited vampire draw I would expect it to almost never charger after initial charge from 1st plug in
when I left town for 3+ weeks I left my Taycan plugged in to PMCC - when I got home I looked at the charging logs - it charged ONCE during that 3 week period, and battery percentage was exactly where I left it from initial plug in - 85%…
