I know this common issue is debated well and a lot of solutions buried deep on this forum... but wanted to ask if there is anything more I can do. My phone/web Porsche apps (both the old and new ones) are showing the car's location and status as of 5 days ago. I have tried the following already - reinstalled the app, logged out of the car, locked the car for a long time, etc etc. I have still not reset the PCM to factory settings yet.

The local tech from the dealer is trying to help, but its not going anywhere. Anything else I can do?

Edit: Car is MY22

Just to be clear - are you saying you have both the newer MyPorshce app and the old Connect app active on your phone? If so one other thing to try is to fully delete the Connect app, reboot your phone and see if anything updates (the 2 apps do not always play nice together!).

I had similar symptoms on my MY2020 vehicle and the problem turned out to be a corrupted OTA module, which was preventing the car from connecting. There was a software issues which I believe has long-since been resolved to prevent the corruption of the OTA, but it's possible yours went bad somehow.

Before any of that though, do check to make sure that your car isn't in "Private" mode on the PCM and intentionally not updating. It's possible something got pressed on the upper screen.

Happened with my MY22 recently. Old data in the app and my Porsche site. But I could still send a navigation location to the car and Google map overlays worked. Ended up spending a while at the dealer to sort. Got sorted by them unplugging various modules and it eventually reconnected itself. If you are feeling brave you could unplug the 12V battery for a while the reconnect it

Thanks. The car is not in private mode and only one app is on the phone. I haven't tried disconnecting the 12v battery. Have never done it before. Will see if I want to be brave!
