I got a recall notice a few weeks ago…they’re going to handle it during the car prep at the dealer.

Dated March 10th…the day it was loaded on the SFL Conductor-

Porsche is conducting a Service Campaign to update the power electronics and engine electronics (DME) software in your Taycan.



What is the issue?
We are contacting you because an important software update is now available for your Taycan for free at your Porsche Dealer.



What will Porsche do?
Porsche will update the power electronics and engine electronics (DME) software in your Taycan at no cost to you.



What should you do?
Please contact any authorized Porsche dealer to schedule an appointment to have this software update performed as soon as possible and to arrange for alternate transportation, if necessary.

The software update will take 1 hour to perform, however, depending on the dealer’s work schedule, it may be necessary to make your vehicle available for a longer period of time. Your dealer will help arrange alternative transportation if it becomes necessary.

You can call your SA and ask if your VIN was impacted….either way, they’ll check all/every campaign before you drive off. The ship is moving towards Baltimore now…update to follow.

Green Ridge just arrived in San Diego.

Did your car clear San Diego port yet? A few of us are on Glovis Sigma, which is heading to San Diego now and expected to arrive in 2 days. Curious how quickly San Diego port processed given Northern CA ports have taken quite a long time.

Still not out. My SA is in training this week so updates have slowed down, but he probably would give me a real time update if it cleared port and on its way to the dealer.

Mine is still in San Diego, as well (came on Green Ridge). The delivery date hasn't budged from 4/8 so I'm not going to expect any movement for another week.

When Green Ridge reached SD it went immediately into port so there were no delays in offloading, at least.

Friday 8:00AM EST update-My non pay sites are conflicting but it appears the SFL Conductor should be mooring (if not already) in Baltimore at this hour. Congrats to everyone whose vehicle made it to this second stop…onward to Jacksonville after today’s offload.

Siem Cicero is still in the Gulf. That port must be seriously backed up or damaged, considering the storm passed days ago.

My car is in Gloves Sigma. Yesterday night, I noticed the delivery ETA delayed by 2 weeks. I'm not sure what's happening to Glovis Sigma right now.
