Hi all. Just researching whether a Taycan is the right car for me. I see that BP are supposed to be rolling out 150kW charging on their forecourts. I can’t find a definitive answer to the voltage that they will be using. Presumably if 400V then the Taycan can only take advantage of this with the optional extra 150kW charger but would be able to use the full charge power without the extra charger if 800V.
Does anyone know for definite what voltage they will use? Or please correct me if I have misunderstood.
Do most people spec the optional 150kW charger? I think there are/will be enough around to justify it unless the newer ones coming along can do 800V.
