Hi! I'm in the market for a used Taycan 4s. 2021, 22, or maybe a 23. Any recommendations on which year will be most reliable and have the latest updates? I think its a '22, but I'm not 100% sure.

Thanks!

MY23 if you can and work your way backwards.

Buyers market so you should get a bargain.

2021, 2022 and 2023 should be very close, provided they have all the software updates. 2020 did not have plug-and-charge hardware capabilities so cannot be software upgraded (hardware is upgradable for ~$8K IIRC). There is also an NHTSA bulletin which seems to imply the battery chemistry changed in 2021, but not many details are available on this. Some 2022 and all 2023 (and 2024) below GTS trim in the USA are missing electronically movable steering column even when you select the seat memory package, which is important to some folks (affect easy entry and automatically restoring steering column position for different driver profiles). 2023 and later might have dashcam pre-wire package (was not available before then). The older the car of course, the less warranty (both battery and general warranty) is will have left.

Your profile says you have a Taycan GTS, are you buying a second one? What year is yours?
