Hi,
There’s a number of people reporting issues on Reddit about this. My cameras have been intermittently going offline and I’m wondering if this is a software issue or hardware. I’ve got the car booked in at the dealer to repair but thought I’d ask here.

The car does have PPF but that was added a long time ago and the intermittent cameras have only been since the last dealer visit for a software update — not sure but others are experiencing this issue. Apparently if one camera starts going bad intermittently then the whole system can go off.

Looks like software / PPF issue rather than physical.
Yeah, I think It’s a software issue given there’s a few people now calling it out. My PPF was done long enough ago that it wouldn’t be causing the issue (2020 Taycan Turbo).

I think it’s a new glitch for the pile, I’ve done a full reset as after my CONBOX (Comms Module) replacement I had an intermittent error that would complain about SOS not functioning. That was resolved by a full PCM reset but alas this didn’t help the failing cameras. The cameras are bad enough for a $220k CAD car but without them it’s impossible.

I had this exact problem. It got resolved at the dealer. It seems their cable supplier for the camera got s bad batch of cable so few cars got affected. My dealer had to rewire all cameras. Big job. Had to remove the front bumber and the two front wings. It now works perfectly.

Same problem with my MY22 CT, same explanation from the dealer.

Took them several weeks to get the replacement cables, and three days to do the repair.

I have all the camera's out today......being told this is starting to pop up and it can be water in front camera harness or the entire module that's going bad. I'm sick of all of this......

I have the same issue. Intermittent and did not occur when I brought to dealer. They thought last update may have fixed. Good to know that it may be due to wiring issue. Disappointed to have so many issues with this car.

Just happened to me this morning. Yesterday was only the front camera which resolved after going shopping and returning. Hope the others come back before I head to Florida next week. Or service visit when I return.

Mine intermittently would come back but it progressively got worse. Turned out to be a bad rear camera that the dealer replaced. Others had to have their entire wiring harness replaced to resolve the issue. Fingers crossed you are in the single camera camp.

Yeah I had the same issue. There’s a service bulletin in another thread that I gave to the dealer. They claimed to have completed it at my visit before and the cameras magically worked every time they tried to use them. I had pictures of them not working so they said they would recheck all the wiring. Claimed they found a lose connection. Haven’t had an issue since but I keep feeling like I’m not being told the whole truth. I waited my cameras out and they randomly would work but over time they consistently didn’t work. I recommend biting the bullet and bringing it to the dealer.
