Anybody had/have this issue?
I charge my car over night on low rate electricity. When the weather is cold my battery temperature can drop as parked outside. If the battery temp drops to about 4C or below the charging fails with a ‘charging error’. I would expect the car to heat the battery/precondition it and then charge it but it always fails. If the battery temp is above 4C it charges fine as intended.
Is this normal or a fault with the charging pre conditioning system?
