Is there something in my settings causing me to get a charging error “red” blinking light on my charge port once my target of 80% is reached. Included pictures to highlight my settings. Any help would be appreciated.

What charger/EVSE are you using?
EVIQO 40 amp. The charger has not been setup with its own proprietary timers , schedule, etc. their app has not been installed. I’m using it as a dummy charger. Using the Porsche timers and profiles instead.

I would start troubleshooting this by using Direct Charging method. Then using General built in Profile set to 85% without Preferred Charing time. See if those methods get you past 80% without an error.

On a different subject. You are getting 196 miles at 80%, which is far more than i ever get, even in summer. My 2022 Turbo only gets 205 miles at 100%.

Different driving style, also elevation differences matter

My Turbo S CT gives me 230 miles at 100% now.
It depends a lot on driving style, outside temp and more.
In deep winter I get 180 miles.

I can get past 80%. I can charge to whatever setting I choose. It’s just the charge cycle ends with an error message.

In order to eliminate the possibility of timers and profiles having a civil war, I would try using only one or the other. I could imagine a scenario where the timer is trying to keep going to 85%, but the profile is capping it at 80%, causing the timer to throw an error.

I’ll try that suggestion. Everything I’ve read says you can have a timer and a profile active simultaneously. But I will see.

Has your car been in for a recent service? I'm wondering if Porsche has capped your charging at 80% to "protect" your battery under ARB6 or ARB7. Applied a software limitation without telling you. Direct charging will ignore any timers or profiles so if Direct Charging isn't working the car is limiting the charge level for some reason.

I misunderstood the problem then. I would then try another Level 2 charger somewhere to see if you get the error. This may be related to a handshake error between car and your specific charger upon charge completion. I suspect the car is sending a command to the charger to stop charging and it does not return expected response, resulting in car going into error. I would even try the Level 1 that comes with a car on 120V just to see how it behaves on completion of charge.
