Turbo S is the fastest.

GTS is intended to be the sportiest, which is why it has bespoke GTS chassis tuning and 20% stiffer suspension.
But it demonstrably isn't. Don't believe the marketing guff around it

Other GTS models I've either owned or driven don't feel 20% stiffer (or close).

The details suggest otherwise, and we aren’t talking about other models.

Porsche’s own information and data tells us that the GTS is intended to be the (current) sportiest model in the range. That’s good enough for me.

Out of interest, why do you think PDCC is crucial?
LOl - yes 'crucial' is a strong emotive word - best reserved more for an Alcantara steering wheel over shiny leather slippy one maybe!!! Ohh no = another can of worms!

My current Taycan has PDCC and it just doesn't roll at all. Its surreal and amazing and I love the feeling - so for me its crucial to have it. It also has a fabulous straight ahead ride (effectively decoupled ARBs not fighting wheel movement). I haven't recently driven a non PDCC car but am trying to. The salesman, who knows me and knows I do track days (not in the Taycan mind), says its a good option for me and that I would definitely miss it on my Welsh B Roads! He genuinely doesn't recommend it for people who wouldn't pick up on it much. They can have gold cup holder trim ;-)

Not much is crucial in a sporty road car which will probably never experience grip limit cornering in its life :)
Mine gets pushed a bit when possible - past Llyn Clywedog route for one - but you are right it probably will make zero difference to my North to South Wales time ;-) But I love the way it makes the car feel. I thought when we chatted on PH (got them same time) that you were going for it - the ride improvement being a key factor?

I realise this is small degrees of stuff on a cracking car - but its what we do when confuseratoring in the 1st world!

I did go for it in the end, yes.

Define "sportiest". Do you think a GTS would beat a Turbo S around any track? Do you think GTS "feels" the most sporty (like gocarts feel so much faster doing 30 mph than a Taycan RWD doing 60mph)? What make s the car "sportiest"?

Maybe ask Porsche, it’s their opinion!

We aren’t discussing which is faster, that’s not in doubt.

Handling, balance, feel etc.
It’s certainly not only about speed!

That’s why few people would argue that a 911 Turbo S is more sporty than a GT3.
Or that a new 992 Carrera S is more sporty than a 996 GT3 RS.

”GTS stands for Gran Turismo Sport. Ever since the creation of the Porsche 904 Carrera GTS in 1963, these three letters have held special significance for Porsche fans. Now, there is a derivative with this legendary letter combination in every Porsche model series”.?

SOLD ??

Remember, marketing's job is to get you to spend as much money as you can afford, not to give you objective information. If you go purely by what Porsche marketing says, you might end up thinking things like that PMCC is a the greatest EVSE ever, or you that Off Road Design Package actually increases the maximum clearance on a CT. Personally I prefer to form my own opinions.

That’s why I pointed out the other data that leads to the same conclusion!
