OK @W1NGE , I see where you coming from. In my case I have to spend £123k, so lowering the model or cutting the options is not an option. If you had to spend the £123k what will be your choice and what options will you go for?
Either a Turbo or GTS ST (I have this on order) with std Pano roof, leather, RAS, PSCB, Bose, comfort, homelink, Racetex b pillar.

Clearly a first world problem to have!

The leasing cost is covered by company
If lease cost doesn't matter, go Turbo S with any options you desire. If lease cost matters, then you do care about resale value (the higher the resale value, the higher the residual, the lower your lease payment every month).

The VLC pano roof is amazing …when clear it lets so much light into the interior making it feel bright and spacious …it benefit’s everybody inside the car . When shaded it lets the same light in but with reduced heat .the patterns and scrolling are an added bonus and wow factor … I for one would spec it again

The standard pano roof is already heat insulated.

The majority of heat generated is from the standard glass side, front and rear windows unless you have the insulated glass option.

Personally I can't justify the cost over the standard pano roof - it's not 2.5 times better than standard and is age old technology.

Just locked my GTS in at the dealer so feel your pontification pain! I cant advise as you know what your priorities are - to me massage seats for eg are an irrelevance but PDCC is crucial...

No indication that Bose and Matrix unavailable - although Matrix didn't add cost when adding - hmmm? No Bose is a dealbreaker as although it isn't particularly good the premium for Burmester is unaffordable and terrible value for the minor improvement - have listened back to back with my sound mixing ears engaged. Its 15% better, tops, but 400% more! IMHO.

Great to hear no ride issues with GTS as my CT rides like a b limo which I'd hate to lose/compromise!!!

Sports seats are a little snug for me but feel wrong to put comfort seats in a GTS?

I'm going with 20"'s for cost/range/ride/tyre cost. This is my biggest dilemma! Feel RWS and PDCC a must for me - used daily and active additions over costly trim/aesthetics changes.

They dont 'arf make us think about these things - but remember, whatever you get will be awesome!!!:whew:

You’ve missed his explanatory post on this - he has a £ budget for the car (£123k), which will be funded by the company. The lease cost he pays appears to be based solely on the car’s price. It’s certainly a weird set-up, for sure!

That us why a Turbo S with any/every option is not suitable..

Out of interest, why do you think PDCC is crucial?

If it were "crucial" I'd expect it as standard on the Turbo S given that RAS, PTV, PCCB are.
Indeed.
And ‘crucial’ for what? If it was crucial for sportier driving it would probably be standard on the sportiest model (GTS)!

I think that the model delete on the 4S options gives you your answer.
I feel your pain because if you are ‘spending’ that much money, you want to make sure that you get it right.
You will love whatever you end up with, but I think there is something inside you that will regret not getting the GTS.
YOLO and are a long time dead my friend!

Not much is crucial in a sporty road car which will probably never experience grip limit cornering in its life :)

One of my friends is a driver and Porsche ambassador who did some development driving of the car and he was quite surprised when I told him I wasn’t ordering it.

I had it on my Cayenne GTS and decided it was a waste of money for my typical use cases.

Turbo S is the sportiest..
Turbo S is the fastest.

GTS is intended to be the sportiest, which is why it has bespoke GTS chassis tuning and 20% stiffer suspension. And it has been tuned to send more power to the rear wheels, more of the time, than the Turbos. And a supposedly sportier sound track.

At launch it was introduced as the ‘sporty all-rounder of the model range’.
