Conflicting Charging percentages

Finally received my GTS 2 days ago...and for the past 6 weeks I have beed reading every thread here to better understand what is needed...

In regards to battery life and charging limits..
Here it is suggested that to charge to a max of 85% and go to 100% when you go on long trips..

When setting this up my SA said
Charge to 100%
There is no way to charge the battery to 100% and in reality it is about 90-95%
Reason is Porsche has built in battery protection automatically and because you
really can not charge to 100% a lot of people would be calling their dealers saying there is an issue..

So question is this correct, guy has been going to Taycan seminars with Porsche for 3 years now.

what he is telling you conflicts with the owner's manual. I would avoid charging to 100% and letting the car sit. also letting it remain at less than 20% is also not good for the battery

Most people keep it between 40-80 or 85% charge and only charge to 100% just before a long trip. That seems to work fine and should reduce the risk of battery issues
