Hello everyone,
I drive a 2020 Taycan Turbo, and recently, I noticed coolant leaking. I took it to a Porsche Service Center, and they found a small leak in the coolant line, requiring replacement of the connector tube (PAD-121-162).
The part itself is around $300, but here’s the kicker—the service center says they need to dismantle the entire front end to access it. They're quoting 38 hours of labor, bringing the total repair to around $11,000! ?
I was also told that there’s little record of issues with this part in Porsche’s service community. To make matters worse, my $6,000 extended warranty (MPP) is pushing back on covering this.
Has anyone else faced similar high labor costs for coolant-related repairs? Would love to hear if others have dealt with this or found alternative solutions.
Thanks in advance!
