Ours got really noisy after some ski road trips this winter. Washed them out good and spinning nicely now!

What's your build date? Builds prior to 11/2021 have a TSB to replace with redesigned fans and cowls. After this date, Taycans have the new parts and should be less susceptible to debris.

I got the pre 11/2021 TSB done by the dealer under warranty. Below are the before and after photos to show the difference. I drove this (daily driver) during Boston's mild winter this year and the fans never went on because the battery never got above 110F. Then, as I was changing over to the European side markers in April, I happened to check with a screwdriver, and the left fan (the battery cooling fan) was seized from debris. I asked my SA to perform the TSB. I sent a copy to my SA. They said to authorize that , I need to complain of fan humming because that's what the TSB says. So having debris that actually jams the fan and potentially would cause the battery to overheat isn't a qualification, but having a few pebbles making noise is! So it goes. My SA graciously let me file a complaint for noise (ok, I might have heard some noise last summer), and then she authorized the TSB. Not sure if the fix will change anything, but I'm going to check the fans regularly and try to clean out the area. Photos are crummy because the tire is in the way.

To complete the cooling system stone protection upgrade, on my own nickel I put in Zunsport meshes. They look great and you really don't notice them unless in the sunlight, as here. The directions are a lacking a bit. There are three metal hook arms that grab edges of the spoiler interior components. You have to push a fair bit the get each hook back far enough, and then while pushing, bend each one in turn outward over the edge of the inside parts. I had to lay down with plenty of light and a skinny screwdriver to do this. But not too bad, and really well made.

Unfortunately they do not make them for the Taycan Turbo CT - wish they did.

Yeah, the intake openings under the T CT bumper are very close, but different. I’m not sure the clips would be in the right place either.

Just had my car back from having a wire harness replaced.
The service guys did see loads of gravel and grime after the winter (live in Sweden) stucked on fan blades and around the cooling engine - both completley stuck; they cleaned everything up for free - claiming it is a known Taycan issue - new fans and/or vent design is apparently under development.
For those of you living in areas with either winter conditions (sanded roads) or gravel roads - have it cleaned at least with your serivce.

PC Danderyd borde vakna upp och hjälpa dig, i vart fall med rengöring men dom är svåra att få medgörliga. Jag tog bilen t Linköping som tydligen var piggare på att få jobb.

Hold on 69.000SEK is that like 6.389 Euro's 🤯, I was trying to replace my dim light and noticed during that process that also my fan was completely stuck, there must be a way to buy them somewhere and install them yourself?

Suddenly you realize that you are driving a 150k car with 150k maintenance costs? And you don't have Porsche Approved?

Sure you can buy the fan. It's 1300 EUR from Porsche and there are no aftermarket options.

IIRC the warranty on those was extended though (recall), so Porsche might cover it, but if not, then that's what it costs.

Only 6 euros? That’s cheap no?

"buy them somewhere" = yes "install them yourself" = probably not. My understanding is that the cooling system needs to be drained and the front bumper cover and wheel liners all need to be removed. to do this. I may be wrong, but it is likely to be a tough DIY. You have a 2023 which has the newer "debris resistant" fan design. It may be that the fan is not stuck because of debris, but because it is actually defective. That might be a warranty item - it would be in the US.
