Thats right, the Focus of J1.1 is bugfixing, not new functions... because the CPU and RAM is the limit factor...(Told me Porsche)
in my opinion: They want sell new cars...
So actually the 4xxxx Software is only for the J1.2.

i hope not...and we see some improvements on J1.1 in the future

More misinformation.

The PCM hardware in 2025 J1.2 and J1.1 is exactly the same, and they will get the same updates.

I have a MY22 TS CT and I go in to PC for 60k service on the 21st july.
I have specifically asked for the latest 4.xx software update. They confirmed and mentioned if needed they will keep the car one more day as the update may take long.
After the 21st I will report back.
So far, I do back up what prj said.

Soon we all know.

Same here,
Went to the dealer in France yesterday asking to update my PCM (v3882 from 2023). Said it was the latest and if there is an update it will be pushed through OTA.

Does anyone know if language play a role in the speed in which updates are pushed? (my system is in French)

Same here. 21st july i will get it. Let's see.

Will be at the dealer in the morning on Monday 21st. Curious to hear what will happen. They told me if it takes another day, just keep the loaner another day. No problem. I specifically asked for the 4.xx version. They said ok, let's see. Soon we all know. To be continued.

I pick my car up this afternoon. Also 3885 from 3882. Minor changes I guess.
Not 4....also not available now as the PC mentioned. Mhmmm.
But let's see what 3885 does.

To be fair, even my ebay PIWIS shows it as avaliable for j1.1; albeit can't download it as i can't connect my piwis to the internet ?
So it definitely exists, but installing it is a different matter...

Update:
Not the version I was hoping for. Only the 3885 instead of the previous 3882.
No noticeable changes unfortunately. Probs only minor bug fixes.
Let's see when Porsche rolls out a real update.
