Small update.Really good. Steel springs are much smoother than I thought. The launch is not face bending but general acceleration is PLENTY for 'normal' day to day driving...
Turning circle is rubbish, not too much of an issue up here we have plenty of space but would think if I lived in a city again then would option the rear axle steering.
Bose sound is OK. Not as good as I hoped.
Damn fine lookin' car, real head turner.

California here: My dealer placed an order on May 11. Porsche cancelled the order on June 1 “because of the change to MY22”. New order placed June 28. Delivery now predicted for December instead of October …I ordered my 4s in December. Original due May. Build finally completed on 20/07 I got all excited to find out today it’s held in a backlog due to no chips. No idea when it will arrive. Very frustrating!
Just been let down by Porsche again - I ordered my 4S in mid-Dec 2020, with a due date of April. Since then had 7 different production dates. Finally, an email 2 weeks ago saying car built and being shipped to the UK. Then had an email from the d/ship yesterday saying that Porsche's online IT systems weren't correct and that the car hadn't even built yet let alone in transit. Not holding out much hope of getting the car till late Sept at the earliest.Hi all. Question for those who have taken Delivery recently- when did you order?
I ordered 4S late December and just been shunted to late August (from an original late April date)
thanks
I thought I had viewed every color/wheel combo on the configurator but I missed this one. Very unique and very nice!My Taycan is finally here. I went to view her today, and she’s stunning. More shots on the Frozen Blue club. I’ll post more once I have the showroom reveal.

The dealer has no influence on the factory scheduling. Their influence is limited to which order they send to the factory first…Does anyone know if dealer has any influence on which orders get put into production and which ones get delayed. Or is it purely a question of “computer says no” whenever they look at the Porsche scheduling?
