£5,000 is the norm … it’s no big deal for a car priced normally at £100,000+ (Thats what was asked for to secure both my orders - and fully refundable up to spec’d order being locked in to build programme

Porsche Exeter accepted 3k deposit due to long delivery time.

My local dealer was $0. Another dealer wanted 10% of the spec that was nonrefundable. I went with them because they offered me an actual build date and $5000 off MSRP. Waiting for delivery this week. (Eagerly rubbing hands).

On this subject i noticed it said about maximum £10k on A credit card (but this excludes the deposit).

Does this mean i can pay another £10k on my credit card on top of the £5k I’ve already paid ?
