Ok help me out here.
I finally got an allocation for a GTS ST with a lock date in 3 weeks. I really really want the GTS Red interior because, well, it's a GTS. But selecting that option, deselects the ventilated seats. I spoke to the dealer and they confirmed no vented seats with the GTS interior. I live in the SE. It's hot, humid, and sticky 9 months of the year. Even had a M3 ages ago without vented seats and my back felt like a swamp.
What's everyones thoughts on the vented seats?

Where I live, it only gets really hot for about 2 months. Even I have had ventilated seats in my last 5 or 6 cars because of it. That said, alcantara/microfiber is somewhat forgiving (doesnt get as hot or cold as leather) but for where you live, you’d be risking that swampy feeling quite often.

Not that the venting is only air circulation and not cooling.

Ventilated seat is a next level of comfort to the Race Tex. I sacrificed Race Tex for it. My experience/proposal is do it.

My 2022 GTS has leather, vented and heated seats. If I optioned it myself, I would have chosen the RaceTex seats as I had them in my MACAN GTS and really liked the way they felt and held you. That being said, those vented seats can be really enjoyable at times. If I had the RaceTex now, I'd miss the venting and Visa-Versa.

One of the 3 reasons I went for a CT4S instead of a GTS ST in the end is that if I wanted ventilated massage seats I couldn’t have the GTS interior.

It’s your car. Get what you need and want, not what others tell you. You will always find a group of people who prefer the race Tex and the other group not. There are people who absolutely need ventilated seats and that’s what their purchases are based on.

I'd vote for GTS interior.

On hot days, you can pre-cool the car before you get in, then with the aircon I wouldn't have thought you'd get too sticky?

I also opted for ventilated and massage seats on my GTS. As much as I love the GTS racetex interior, ventilation and massage were worth sacrificing them for. Pure personal preference. I think if I were buying this car in my younger years, I'd have gone the other way.

It’s not very hot here and I still use the seat ventilation a lot. Alcantara does feel cooler than leather, but I’d still probably opt for leather with ventilation.

Thx all!
Haha! No gts interior for me. Vented seats are a must have for me and I just wanted to run it by the hive mind also!
