You don’t get it : This is what Porsche does and what Porsche enthusiasts like: being able to customize their car the way they want. Being able to choose the wheel rear steering or burgundy belts over the ACC is what makes Porsche so special. There is no fully loaded Porsche : there are configurations. They sell 100k€ base car, the rest is up to the owner.

Definitely correctly, it is just an unreal unnatural feeling to have a hot steering wheel imho.

Back 30y ago Mercedes was the same. Now, certainly in the uk, many options are bundled in packs. I’ve often thought it’s probably cheaper to have everything there rather than have to build cars with such bespoke capability. Presumably this is especially true of software options. Each to their own

This is why the GTS models are so GREAT, they often contain accessories that purchased independently would double the price!

Yes, it does. IIRC, it’s at or below 40F.

It’s not hot. It’s comfortably warm. Nothing unnatural about. What’s unnatural is gripping a cold hard leather steering wheel while sitting in a nice warm car. Or do you also leave your heater off because it feels unnatural to be comfortable?

I beg to disagree. Happy for car to be heated to 19 degrees C ( don’t get F anymore , I’ve been reprogrammed !) The hot or warm wheel just feels weird. To be fair in the uk temperatures rarely fall below 0c .

erm….I don’t think it’s safe to sit on your steering wheel ?

If you live in London or the South West, maybe.

Every year, without fail, we get chunks of time when it's below 0degC (East of England technically).

Last year my old 911 showed -11.5degC on its readout. Coldest in our driveway was - 14degC a decade ago. (Warmest was last year in the back garden - 42degC. On a decent thermometer).
