Heater issues anyone?

Service are saying there are no appointments until Feb. As a result, I have called Porsche assist and they are recovering it to Porsche. Hopefully that will mean I get a loan car at least.

This is indeed a terrible situation. One spot of good news is that Porsche assist will put you in the front of the queue for diagnosis (yes, the diagnosis seems obvious but must be verified) so at least the part will be on order right away. At least that has been my experience with Porsche assist in the U.S.

Munich is a winter wonderland... and my GTS's heatpump is out of order, again.

The part is on back order with no delivery date available.

I am very loyal to the brand but this is not funny anymore.

That's unforgiveable when they have had all spring/summer/autumn to get spare inventory built up ready for the inevitable winter demand for replacement heaters.

Love my Taycan...... But it will be my first and last Porsche.
Life's complicated enough, without needing extra hassle from car ownership.

And some sort of communication would be the first step to the brand becoming more customer focused.
It's so frustrating when things go wrong and it's just a wall of silence.

They really need to up their game when the disrupter brands start gunning for their market.

I have exactly the same feeling. First and last Porsche. I love the drive but hate the way they handle things and also the worrying about potential defects while on a road trip.

maybe it is an EV thing? I also heard stories about the eqs.

It’s terrible to say but I 100% agree about last (possibly) but this is my 6-7th spanning 25 years? with 2nd Boxster in Northern Ireland to my Taycan CR 4S who’s heater has died

And add another to the list! This will be my second time to replace my heater.

My car is in at Porsche Center so they can replace the PPF on front bumper, which they damaged. I had a long mail conversation with the service agent, to encourage him to look at the heater at the same time. The message back was that my heater was of the new type and no risk of failing! Now it has failed and needs to be replaced.

Great that they replace it under warranty with a 4 year old car, but very disappointed at Porsche to always use that Ostrich mentality of hiding the head in the sand!

Needed my car over the weekend but will have to do with this crappy loaner, which has a clutch that is lipping and hardly gets up our hill. Will have a word with the manager tomorrow. Need to take some deep breaths!

Got the new Cayenne as loaner. Comfy and nice, but no match for the Taycan. Miss it already.
