Ordered a car in 12/2021. Was prepared for April 2022 delivery but my car was apparently totaled and undeliverable when it came across on the SFL composer.
So now I’m back in the ordering process and my dealer is telling me that the car now costs 4K more as they are moving to 2023 models with an additional 5 month wait time! Needless to say I’m pretty upset about this little surprise. Basically I’m getting the same car without any upgrades for 5% more cost. Obviously this is not about affordability on a 6 figure car but this is about principle. My dealer told me that there is nothing that they can do and told me to call Porsche of North America who basically told me that the local dealers set the price and that there is nothing they can do on their end either….
Any suggestions on any recourse I can have in this instance???
