Started using the brake HOLD function. Really like it.

While HOLD engaged, every once in a while, the Taycan will slip a few inches forward or backwards. A bit disconcerting when this happens. Sounds like the brake discs are just slipping a bit.

Has anyone else had this happen? I wonder if the setting for the caliper pressure holding the disc is just not quite tight enough.

I use it all the time - great at stop lights (keeps brake lights lit) - the 'slipping' generally only occurs when maneuvering on an incline or if the car thinks it will roll backwards. There is no adjustment just something to get accustomed to but can be a pain when a traditional hand brake would be better!

Zero slip for me when HOLD is active.

I love the hold button. So far it has worked flawlessly.

hold button?
Not a button but a function of applying the brake pedal when stationary (HOLD lights up on the dash) or automatically deployed when on an incline and stationary to prevent rolling.

Yeah, but there are no hills in South Florida. :)
A few.... ;) I've tested it on overpass areas/entries, driveways, etc....

The one time I had it creep forward while on hold, I realized my foot was lightly pressing the accelerator pedal.

Is there a trick to this. Tried it today and couldn't get it into hold. I was pushing down hard but maybe just a quick hard push?
Brake just enough to come to a full stop. Then press the brake a bit harder and the HOLD should come up.

Quick stab on the pedal when fully stopped.
Little Green 'hold' symbol will light on the dash.
