I tried the search feature and can't seem to find it. Sorry in advance if this is something already covered.

I just noticed my car is showing my rear two windows open. This explains why I hear some wind/whistle noise when I'm driving on the highway recently which is new within the last week.

Anyone have guidance on how to recalibrate the windows to make sure they properly close all the way?

Thank you in advance!

Interesting - I 've had this happen a few times i.e. on launching the MyPorsche app, the car reporting a window open when actually not but usually once the app updates it corrects itself and reports all closed as they are. I just assumed this was another SW bug in the PCM but now I am wondering too if your thought could be correct and perhaps sometimes the windows are not tightly sealing on closing which would potentially be related to the whistling noise. I rarely hear the whistling but nonetheless have heard it occasionally and more often at lower speeds.

Sorry don't have the answer to your actual question but curious to now research myself!

Yeah, the whistling for me is new with the last week or two. Prior to that, I had a nearly silent ride since taking ownership back in October. Now seeing the window indicator thing, it kind of makes sense if they aren't calibrated to fully close tightly for some reason.

I recall seeing people mention how to do the recalibration in other alarm threads, but I can't seem to find it no matter how hard I search this morning.

This is the procedure from the manual.

Perform the following steps for all side windows:
  1. Close the side window completely once by pulling the switch to the second setting.
  2. When the window is completely closed, briefly pull the switch to the second setting again.
  3. Completely open the side window once by pressing the switch.

I assume the 'second setting' is fully pulling the switch up like you're activating the auto-up feature and holding it?

This would happen to me on my Mercedes all the time! It was a pain but the steps above were the same and it works.
Good luck.

I 100% have the wind whistle coming from the driver's side. It's super annoying...it starts around 25-35 mph and can be heard windows up or down. When I fold the mirrors in, the sounds lessens, but is definitely still there. I have no idea what to do... I have a 22 4 CT. Anyone make any progress on this? For me, it doesn't seem to have anything to do with the windows closing all the way.
