Anyone ever seen anything like this?

My guess is a tiny gap in sealing the side of the panoramic glass roof allowed a tiny bit of moisture in-between panes, ice crystals grew, separating some of the lamination, and then they melted, leaving this pattern.

Was just up in Mammoth Lakes and then Lake Tahoe, so a lot of cold conditions. I didn't notice this until I got home (back in ~60ºF weather) — it's invisible in low light, and even in bright light only visible from some angles.

Barely visible at all from outside, no obvious chips or deformations can be seen or felt around the area.

Did you ever find a solution to this?

I have a Taycan, that I picked up in April in the UK and I now have a similar pattern on my roof as well.

So far never heard of that issue, no TSB to be found also.
Curious, what Porsche will say about it.
Do you have approved warranty?

Definitely will!
Looks like a problem with the glue between the glass layers.
Thermo and noise insulated glass? That would have an additional "metal-layer" also.

Take it in ASAP to be looked at. If it cracks on the outside (or inside) of the glass, you might end up with more of a debate on a warranty claim.

They replaced the roof glass. Said they had never seen it before.

Did a good job visually as far as I can tell.

I do have some new creaks / rattles now, hopefully just some trim pieces not quite reinstalled correctly. Need to find the time to bring it back.

Update: Got the new creaks addressed. (Hopefully! So far!)

I'm told that the roof glass replacement comes with an updated set of Porsche recommendations — there are bolts in the rear C-pillar that are meant to be removed and left removed. When the bolts are installed, the upper-cage rigidity is deemed to be too much, which is what causes these stress gaps in the roof glass.

The problem is, without the bolt, something inside the C-pillar was rubbing against trim pieces. They've put in Krytox which is Porsche's recommended fix. Hoping this lasts the rest of my lease, but at least I'll know what to point to if it doesn't

Interesting, thanks!

Never heard of Krytox.
After reading about it and it's specifications, I want a tube in my garage.
The only thing keeping me from doing that is the price of around € 2000,- per litre. 😝
