You have to move the cruise stalk upwards as said above. using it this way you avoid the automatic setting, which can read an incorrect speed sign and slam the brakes or accelerate wildly.

There is a setting in the car for this feature.
Not sure if both work or there's different software (I've got a 25MY Turbo) but mine is a pull back on the cruise stalk to accept the change - will have to try moving it upwards next time!

Sorry no, the MY25 got a different direction of the action. More like what it has been in Audi, I believe.

I am referring to the MY 20 to MY24

Never seen that - maybe it is a regulation-driven "improvement" in the newer model. Mine just automatically adjusts when the speed limit changes. With Innodrive it does this correctly so you are travelling at the target speed when you pass the sign (vs Tesla which illegally doesn't start braking until you pass the sign). I get a blue speed limit when it is in the process of adjusting or getting ready for a speed limit change. No user input required.
Same with my MY25 CT4S.
