A new chart has appeared: average consumption statistics. This chart's produced by your vehicle trip data rather than Electric Sidecar, so it should be pretty accurate. I'm going to be curious to see others' consumption statistics.

Ahhh I hadn't seen your thread in a bit, love the charts there! A lot of that data requires direct readouts from the vehicle's on-board computer right? Or do you think it could be calculable from the data available over Porsche Connect? Asking because I wonder if it might be worth allowing Electric Sidecar users to upload anonymized vehicle data to a central db for automated analysis.

The kWH, trip distances etc all available as in your chart - can use this to get range estimates as the PCM does but indeed I also read out directly from the PCM the max. GoM ranges for different driving modes - the KwH 'in' not accessible as from my EVSE and of course the accessible data on the web site is only good for up to one year (if I recall) - had captured the prior year before it was deleted for my car. But interesting idea re db & anonymous uploads!

Whaaa the data gets deleted after a year?! Definitely need to make Electric Sidecar save the consumption data to the vehicle history database then ?

Consumption data now appears in the journeys tab alongside the rest of the trips data!

Last step is to make it so that you can access the journey timeline from the vehicle page as well.

v1.4.0-61 is now out!

This release includes a new, unified trip logs experience that merges vehicle consumption data with Electric Sidecar's trip logger. You can now access complete trip logs for a vehicle from the vehicle page, or see your entire aggregate journey (including consumption data from all vehicles in your garage) from the "Your journey" tab.

Other changes that went into this release:
- The app is now translated into Spanish, Italian, and French thanks to Taycan Forums member @dws_ch.
- Vehicle trip logs have been renamed "Consumption logs".
- "Issues" have been renamed "Discussions" to better frame the intent of the feature.
- A new "Average efficiency statistics" chart is now available. This shows an aggregate chart of all vehicle consumption data.
- Consumption logs have been completely redesigned to align with the new timeline design style. Key information is now more prominently displayed and easier to scan.
- Toyota vehicle authentication flow is now more verbose in its error reporting.
- All charts on the watch app have been moved into drill-down pages to improve performance of the vehicle pages within the app. This is due to a bug with Apple's Charts framework that causes Charts to take 15-30 seconds to appear the first time the Charts framework is used.

v1.4.0-69 now surfaces preventative maintenance notices for Porsche vehicles. These notices are suggested by Porsche's API and based on the maintenance record stored on your vehicle.

Other updates include:
- Various fixes to Tesla API endpoint decoding errors.
- Fixed an infinite loop in the geocoder.
- French translations have been improved thanks to a Taycan forums member.
- Tire pressure data is now tracked historically.

I'm working on a unification of the app's garage experience in prep for eventually supporting the iPad and a macOS app, but I'm a bit conflicted on the resulting multi-vehicle experience because I don't use the multi-car experience on a daily basis.

What I'm currently exploring is unifying on the app layout that was first introduced with the watchOS 10 redesign, where multi-car garages show a summary list of vehicles that you can drill in to. On the watch this makes a ton of sense, but on the phone this means that you lose the ability to quickly tap through different vehicles from the bottom bar. Specifically, navigating between vehicles will now be two rather large (in terms of thumb distance traveled) tap gestures instead of a single quick tap gesture.

I'm not sure how real of a use case it is to want to go between a bunch of vehicles quickly though so maybe this isn't too bad of a regression in practice.

One thing I'm considering is making it possible to mark one vehicle as the "default", so that the app always launches to that vehicle on a cold boot. I'll probably use the default journey vehicle for this. This seems like a decent compromise for the most likely common case. I'm also planning on making the set of information shown in the summary cards configurable so that this list is a higher value screen overall.

Would love any thoughts / opinions on this from those of you who have multi-car garages!

From trying it out, using the default journey vehicle feels a bit presumptuous (if you *don't* want this behavior, it forces you to mess with trip logging) so I'll have to introduce a separate default vehicle preference.

Settled on this:

Feels much better having this be distinct from the default journey vehicle. It's "None" by default, which causes the app to launch to the garage list in multi-car environments. This configuration will only appear if you have more than one car in your garage.
