Dealer just told me that cars are being held at Benicia for a battery update. The crew doing updates is in San Diego now and will be in Benicia this week or next to finish ours.

Nah, it’s a ‘23, started at end of July and finished August after the factory shutdown. I hit basically the first week or two of MY23 production.

I was in the same boat! Been waiting since July. Did get my ST on the 16th December. It was delayed a week further. A part needed replacing in the heater!

No, it’s a MY23. He said “big software and battery update” … apparently all Taycans that haven’t been delivered are now being held for this update. That’s all he knows.

When was your vehicle produced? My understanding is, if it was produced post recent FW update, that your car would already come with the latest update.

Mine is being held at the SD port for a missing amp according to my dealership. There was no mention of an update being required. It's a MY22 built around 7/27/22.

When was your vehicle produced? My understanding is, if it was produced post recent FW update, that your car would already come with the latest update.

It was completed on August 26th and then sat at the port until 11/23 when it boarded Glovis Clipper. As of last week, my dealer said I would have it today (1/9), but all that has since changed.

As of Friday my 23 has no holds, my SA sent me a picture of the screen. No battery update was listed.

My TYD finally updated this evening to show “Port Processing” after the previously goofy “On Vessel” which had lagged days after the ship had departed San Diego. My dealer claims that he sees no issues or missing parts on his end, so maybe I’ll actually get it this month?! Seems impossible after months of delays.

Here ya go. Courage is expected to head straight to Panama (Dec 27) and then on to San Diego (Jan 4). As you can see, the next couple west coast boats are less direct and expected to take longer.

Can you share where you get these schedules from and do you have an updated one for upcoming vessels to the East/Gulf coast of the US? Mine has an estimated On Vessel date of 1/13 and would like to track incoming ships

Select US gulf as the trade lane, and choose the carrier to see what schedules have been posted. For some reason the east coast/gulf schedule hasn’t been updated for months. Not sure if there’s another place to find the current schedule, tried googling and came up empty.

Anyone on Courage? It left Benicia and my TYD is still stuck at “On Vessel.” I’m curious if anyone is on the same vessel and whether your TYD has updated. I have PECLA and trying to gauge delivery; especially with the floods in NorCal.

My car was on the same vessel and TYD still shows “On Vessel”. My dealership told me that they expect the car to be on a truck in the next couple of days which is when TYD will update to the “enroute to dealership” status.

btw, I don’t have burmester amp.I heard cars with burmester amp are being held up at the port longer.

My car took about 4 days to show “port processing” after my car’s vessel departed.
