Sure. Every 45 days the battery is dying. As I was told at the authorized Porsche service, this is a known issue.

But this is the least of my worries. The problem is that even if you go out and replace the key battery, you still have to visit the service and wait for them to plug in their computer to your car and reset the "Low Battery" message (!!!)

If you don't, you'll keep getting the same message, even though the new battery will be full.

Where do you store your key when not in use?

I just checked the date, it's not April 1st. Are you saying that Porsche is not allowing owners to change key battery without visiting service, AND the battery runs out ~8 times a year? So your are claiming that your Taycan requires at least 8 service visits a year then, is that correct?

Almost correct. Porsche allows you to change the batteries without visiting the service. But unless you visit the service, you won't get rid of the annoying message that "key battery is low". Apparently it marks the specific key with an error in the system and you have to go to the service to get the message reset. It has happened to me 4 times already (bought the car in May) and I got this detailed explanation at the service center, where they also agreed that the battery is drained at this speed. Now, about the frequency, as you get two keys, it practically means visiting the service every 3-4 months. Again, as the official service explained "perhaps Porsche wants the cars to come in for inspection on a frequent basis"

My battery is still ok… after 75 days.
maybe you should keep keys far away from the car, so they are not going to talk to each other all the time?

Mine too after 375 days

Are we sure it is the key battery and not the 12v battery?

If the OP can't keep their keys far enough away they could use one of the many RFID signal blocking boxes available for storing car keys. Personally, I think using one of these is a good idea anyway.

Similar problem. Bought Taycan in June 2021 and got a low battery issue last week. I replaced it with a new battery. Before replacing, I measured the voltage of the old battery and it was 2.9V. The new CR2032 was 3.3V. However, the dashboard still says that the battery of key fob is low after 2 days of changing the battery. I was thinking they may have some hysteresis but perhaps not?

Is there a way to reset the warning indicator on the dashboard? I know the battery could be bad too but still wondering if there is some memory in the car dashboard?

Recently had to replace my key battery after a year of ownership, the battery warning message stopped popping up of its own accord a few days later

Definitely not. Had my Taycan for over 2 years and not had to replace at all yet
