I reckon 1.3g acceleration could be achievable with an emergency stop in reverse drive.

more than 1g acceleration is tricky - I see the numbers - but it had to be something going on…

I can get over 1G on a quick bike, but no way in my 4S. I also don't understand how those shown achieved that in a non-turbo. Genuinely curious.

Clearly braking and cornering over 1G is very doable.

How are you guys getting 1G on a 4S. I have a 4S performance plus with the mission E wheelS and I can’t break .8 on launch control and sport plus mode….any suggestions?
Have no idea since my GTS is only 0,86g.

What tyres?
They make the most difference in cornering and a big difference in braking.

I have the summer tires that come with the mission E wheels. I’ve never been able to break .8 g’s even with traction control off and 80 degree weather

Unless you are Michael Schumacher you will probably get better numbers with TC left on.
I would expect more than 0.8g on dry tarmac with stability control optimising grip.

No idea which tyres are fitted to your Mission Es in the USA though.

Really? So keep traction control on always? Didn’t know that. I have Goodyear tires. That’s all I know lol.

The stability control algorithms know where the grip limit is WAY better than most drivers!
I guess PSM sport mode is nearer the limit anyway.

Drifting and wheelspinning happen at grip levels lower than maximum.

I just did the Taycan Immersion at Porsche Experience Center Atlanta in a Turbo S, and we were above 1.0 all 4 vectors! I must admit I was getting a bit nauseous after multiple Launch Controls followed by full slam braking! ? ??

I have a 4S cross tourismo and personally I remain on my hunger with 0.6G (car a little loaded). And you? How much do you do?
in a RWD highest ever seen was 0.56 when accelerating.

any other RWD drivers here?
what are your numbers?

I turned it on out of curiosity. It showed 1.00 when I ran up to get some takeout food yesterday. No racing or, aggressive driving (left/right/braking were all under 1), I just tend to accelerate fast when there are no cars in front of me. My gripe is the speedometer doesn't update fast enough, going up in 5+ mile steps when accelerating fast, making it harder to not overspeed. I got used to it, but still annoying that Porsche didn't bother making the speedometer match the car's performance.

Turbo CT, all-season 20" factory tires, Sport/SportPlus Mode, no launch control, dry roads.
