Finally got my ANA6 update performed, no apparent issues so far and everything I've tried works as supposed to, so far ??

Yes I think that's normal behaviour - the update doesn't remember the last screen display for whatever screen you were in but it now let's you start with your own Home page.

It work for me… even locations have been remembered.
My locations were remembered but did not activate. I cleared them and created new ones and still no activation. What I do notice is that it stores the street name as the location rather than the geo co-ords which I guess is more helpful if only it worked!

I don't think there would be a correlation and remember the estimate here is simply that, an 'estimate'.

Longer trips help with consumption as per an ICE vehicle.

Of more relevance is your average consumption. I'm still at 3.3 miles / kWh which my current reduced range contradicts (would indicate increased consumption).

If you have an MY22 car with the latest updates then that could account for the estimated range increase. That said, check your consumption data to see what you typically get for each mi/kWh.
3.3 mi/kWh is much better than mine. Now I also have the 21 inch wheels etc. And driving a lot this summer has resulted in averages about 2.6 to 2.8 mi/kWh. That has been over 3 to 4 k miles and 32 to 49 mph.
I have not noticed any significant increase in range but also not seen any decrease in range on the GOM. It has been quite consistent at 210 to 220 miles range.

I think it seems something has not fully worked out for your uPdate. I have not experienced any of the problems you have encountered. All settings, favourites, smart lifts etc were retained and worked.

Seems peculiar that some functions should be reset to factory settings and then needed to start all over again, while others have been retained and some missing completely?? Worries me if Porsche has built in any verifications by check sum or what ever for each function upgrade.

If I had experienced the issues that you have, I would have brought the car back in for a complete check or reflash. Sounds starnge.

Thx + this helps and I think the GOM will get its act together and normal services will be resumed.

Thx.

I was intending to leave 2 weeks of bedding in plus I can't spend my life to'ing and fro'ing to the dealers - my Taycan investment never factored this in (ridiculous really).

Mine too! Got my car back yesterday so far everything works including Smart Lift with saved locations.

YIKES!!! I need to correct this. Smart Lift does work but today when I approached two locations that were previously saved the car did not lift. At one location I actually stopped and waited and nothing happened. I tapped the Smart Life 'button', the car did lift and asked me if I wanted to save the location. So it looks like my previously saved locations have been wiped out with the ANA6 update.

Before uPdate, accidentally, it happened just once that i somehow got a satellite view on a central tube. Have no idea what i pressed, but i was not able to found how to get that again.
you hit the button to highlight the center tube, then hit the scroll wheel to bring up the options, then choose sat view

Yep, it worked.
After selected options, menu (of them) stays on the screen, until you press little button on a wheel... :headbang::giggle:

My range is down 30+ miles since the uPdate but I sense it may be nudging up again but will be a little hacked off if I don't end up with more than before. Time (and patience) will tell.
Last night I charged till 100%.
I started with 7% SoC and according to mobile charger 82,3kwh went to the battery, so there should be 88,49 kwh @ 100%.
However, estimated range was only 370km :crying:.

Looks that they have some "special" math @Porsche.
For instance, my overall consumption (total trip): 19,4 kwh/100km (it is still going down... before uPdate, it was 19,8 or something like that), while I was using between 22-25 kwh/100km during last month (after uPdate)...
