Cut the springs! ? Eibach and/or H&R may be releasing springs. Maybe email them.

Just wanted to bump this thread. Purchased an RWD Taycan on steel suspension today and wanted to see if anyone knew of any options to lower the ride height? I've emailed Vivid Racing to inquire as well.

I have a RWD with the steel springs. I have scraped the bottom on some steep ramps in multi-storey carparks near where I live. Just something to consider, as I have learned that there's no way I can lower the springs unless I want damage.

Also FWIW, after replying to this post I went out and took a look at my car to ask myself "does it really need to be lowered?". I looked at it and thought "meh - it looks pretty low already".

Of course everyone's personal taste is different. @sabeast - if you don't have your car yet, wait until you get it to check it out and worry about this then. I went through the same process with window tinting, changing wheels, and PPF. I decided against all after getting the car, figuring I loved it just how it was and didn't need to do anything to it.

‘21 RWD here with Steel & leading up to delivery was also terrified it would sit too high/regretting not getting Air Suspension. After receiving the car absolutely did not think it needed lowering and sat great. I did still tint windows, PPF the front for protection & Ceramic the whole thing - but no lowering for this Steel Springer:

Took delivery of my Taycan today and it’s been pretty fun. Still feel like it could stand to be a little lower though.

For those interested, Eibach told me they have no spring kit in development for this car. No word yet from H&R or Vivid Racing though.

I just had my CETE module put on when the new wheels were put on. Not the best photo but it's in low and I dropped it about an inch in the front and about three quarters of an inch in the back.

Just wondering if anyone has seen any developments for lowering a STEEL suspension Taycan?

I would also state that my RWD with air suspension and 20" alloys also sits higher than I would ideally like in 'normal' ride height mode.

Just worth noting for those with steel springs.
