Ok, it’s been cold in the UK for a while, but not that cold.
2024 GTS- 176 miles expected in a full charge.
Anyone seen worse?

I see similar, usually 175-195, until I start driving it when it realises the error of its ways ?

What I have noticed is that I've started running it down to 10%-20% and then charging, plus have done a couple of 100% cycles. Not only has this given me extra cheap hours on the Intelligent Octopus tariff, but the estimated full charge range has gone up to 207-215 miles.

(Haven't checked whether I'm actually getting that or not as yet).

Heating heating heating!
Amazing how much it saps the range. It’s been a little milder in the south and for the last few journeys I have left the HVAC off. Even with seat heating and heated steering wheel I am seeing 3m/kw or more for longer journeys and 2.8m / kw for shorter. This is from a cold start.
Ambient temperature is 8-12 deg Celsius.
With heating this would be closer to 2.4-2.6m/kw for longer journeys and c.2m / kw for shorter.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the range on my new 4S… I’d heard range would be poor for the first few thousand miles and would gradually increase, but I charged to 100% this week for the first time ahead of a long journey with only 300 miles on the clock and I woke up to 220 miles of range! And this is in the north of Scotland too, so low temps. Obviously it dropped a bit as the journey went on and I was using the heating (not even necessarily because I needed the heat, but I needed to keep fans running otherwise the windows kept steaming up!)

Usually when I charge to 85% I get around 170/180 miles, so looks like maybe you just have a heavy foot! (And I don’t blame you!!)

My first Taycan was rejected due to all the faults appearing ** 22ZYG dropped to 140 miles after dealer installed range unproved software. Replacement now owned for nearly a year has been fairly trouble free. Only issue was software upgrade when car off road for two weeks. No loan car from dealership.Had to borrow ( non estate) smaller ICE car, change insurance and tickets - this was third time no loan car available ( 2 on previous car) Porsche PCGB OFFER £416 ‘goodwill’ gesture. They have now sent me an invoice from October 2022 for an EV charge on old car - shocking!!

Ignore that number, what has your consumption been like?

Remember the guess-o-meter uses an algorithm based on driving style, ambient, AC etc and so can give quite disappointing range estimates before you turn a wheel next time out.

Numbers are "normal" IMHO.

It’s so variable. This is cruising/hypermiling in a GTS saloon last summer. With the stupid range sapping 21’ Spyders of course.

After 50% battery used,
mileage done 171.
28.4kw per 100 miles quite frugal!?
Predicted further range 142.

(I don’t understand either.
The algorithm probably thinking he can’t drive that gently again.
Why didn’t it say range 171?)

So predicting a total 313 miles.

Cruised 300 miles twice in last week at 70-75 mph. Got a range of 240 ish.

Outside temperature is the biggest factor.

This is what my battery is sitting at now and predicting. Not as good as last summer.

Heating kills range like nothing else, even more than aircon. On a 14 mile journey, heated steering wheel on, seats on at max and temperature set at 22 I lose 26 miles range. Outside temperature 2 Celsius.

That is really impressive and way beyond what my battery reads at the same SOC.

Do you drive the taycan as much as your previous heavy vehicles? maybe it stays parked for too long.
Soft Soil > Poor Installation: The ground underneath might be soft or poorly compacted, leading to deformation under the weight of the car.
Water Saturation: Excessive water in the soil can weaken the tarmac, causing it to sag over time.
