I just got Hankook Ion EVO on my 2WD and they are awesome. My car came stock with Pirelli which only lasted 12,000 miles.

Discount Tire was awesome and able to special order Hankook Ion EVO and pricing is great too.

I have 20" aero wheels too. Hope it fit and work perfectly. Thanks.

Have you noticed any discernible difference in consumption or sound levels since you switched?

Will be very interested to hear your experience and comparison of the tyres after a few weeks testing. Have heard many good reviews of them on other brands and hope the will be approved by Porsche soon!

I have had 4,000 miles on these tires now they are perfect on both dry and wet roads.

These tires don’t show up on discount tire’s website but if you call your local store they can special order them.

I might’ve missed the response, but how was the wear on PS4S? I’ve had two iterations of Pirelli’s since owning the car and have eked out 20k miles on each set. Have the Michelins lasted longer?

One other quick question Derek. You mentioned the Pzeros are quieter than the PS4S. Do they grip and steer as well? Upon closer inspection my rears are definitely at the wear bars but my fronts are probably good through the winter. With the impending release of the MIchelin PS S5, I am wondering if I should replace just my rear two and then wait until the PS S5 is released and then replace them all. What do you think?

Mine have worn well for UHP Summer tires. 25K miles or a bit more.

I’m not Derek, but here’s my answer to this question, posted earlier in this thread:

“The Pirellis are very slightly quieter than PS4S, but the Michelins are very quiet already.

The tradeoff, IMO is that the Pirellis aren’t as responsive and don’t have quite the lateral grip of the Michelins. I miss the performance of the Michelins I had on my previous car.

When my OEM Pirellis are ready for replacement, I’ll likely go with PS5s
…”

Thank you for the response. One other quick question, Do you think the Michelins P4S will wear better?

I’ve only put about 12K miles on the Pirellis so far. They look fine, but it’s tough to predict when they’ll need replacing.

How much tread do they have out of interest? I'd expect to replace around that mileage, usually when they get below 2.5-3mm tread

My stock Conti Pro Contact on 21 inch Mission E at 2k miles do not grip at all in the rain. I am skating around and have to be really careful. I am very interested in the Hankook next if they are NF0 and can be had as All Seasons.
