I lost LTE connection last month.
It worked "OK" for the last 15 months.
But there were times I would lose connection.
The dealer ordered a new LTE module from Porsche which was due in about one week. Tracking showed the part was stuck in US Customs for another week. The dealer then ordered another one since the replacement part from Porsche is MIA and never arrived.
The new module arrived this week.
It’s a different part number than the OE module.
That seems good since maybe there has been an improvement to connectivity.
Bad news – the same day the module arrived Porsche messaged the dealer and said – Do NOT install this part.
No reason given.
Today Porsche messaged back that a software update is forthcoming, supposedly next week.
Hopefully know more next week...
