New MyPorsche and PCM additions - Mar 25 2022

Just had some updates to my MyPorsche app (believe it was today but perhaps others saw this earlier?) - however it may have messed with my Apple Music in the actual car - need to muck about with it further to see what I or it is doing!


Prior to this all I had in here re PCM services was the Calendar app. - apologies if this is not actually new and I am late to discovering this visibility in the MyPorsche app!

I just got it also, didnt disconnect my apple music. It shows connected in the app. It also shows spotify. I am hoping that means that we will get the PCM update soon in the MY22.

Yep my Service guy (who is in Taycan class!) confirmed they pushed an update to the PCM/MyPorsche app today - and actually when I subscribed in the app to podcasts, waited an hour and returned to the vehicle the Apple Music Icon was back (despite having already subscribed to both) - in reality I think the update was simply delayed by my passing through areas with mixed signal and when it finally loaded and was applied all came back just fine.

Indeed my thoughts too re Spotify although I am not a user.

Did someone try to connect Spotify? In app everything is ok and linked, but I cannot see Spotify icon in car pcm like I have for the Apple Music?

This may be due to the PCM version / model year of the car - time will tell if the icon appears in Media.

Looks to be a bug because the Spotify settings are not present in "my Porsche".

Likewise I have the account linked status in the app, but there as yet there is no Spotify into in the PCM. I have a car that completed production on 14th Jan so I just missed out on the from factory integration. Having checked the updates area, all shows as up to date.

Yes but not here :

The Apple Music icon should be replaced by "Media" with both configurations for Apple Music and Spotify.

I think cars that began their production run from 17th Jan onwards have the new PCM with Spotify fully integrated.

The icon once / if available should appear in Media along side Apple Music and Podcasts. It's a long shot but be patient a while longer.

Seems odd to let folk link accounts for MYs and build that may not be compatible given they know our VIN so I remain a little optimistic.
