So, I'm hoping for some ideas -- or at least someone else suffering like I am. So my SiriusXM disappears as a source -- I read that the solution is to reboot the PCM so I do that. And it works! But only for that one time I am in the car. So next time, I reboot again - and it works! But this time for a day. Now when the car is turned on, no media sources are available and I have the endless spinning wheel with "Loading Data"

Any thoughts or assistance would be very appreciated!

I’ve been noticing this more and more lately. Takes a while when I first leave in the morning to get the PCM going….

Yeah this happens to me every single day now.

Question: are you in a free trial period?

A quicker thing than rebooting to get it back:

  1. Set the <> key to "Change Source"
  2. Use that to switch source to Sirius XM
  3. Amazingly, it now works (and may pop up a "Welcome" screen for your XM trial.)

Thanks -- yes, I'm still stuck in the trial period, luckily that ends next week so I'm hoping something miraculous happens after that.

I have tried setting it with the <> key but the issue is that the source completely disappears from the row of icons so there's nothing to switch to.

I have this too, now. XM icon disappeared entirely, and was there earlier. The <> trick doesn't do anything. Will try a reboot in the AM, but it's odd!

Hi everyone. For those of you who are watching this thread. I had to reset the PCM a number of times over several days and it finally resolved itself. It seemed to be fixed the first week of September but then my trial period ended on 9/8 - I’m not sure what actually fixed it but it’s been reliable since then. So I guess my advice is keep resetting and get to the end of the trial period - unless there was some mystery OTA upgrade that fixed it.
