November 2022 Deliveries

I have (or had) this exact same time frame as you, down to the date. Logged into TYD today and delivery now postponed until November 25. Ugh.

It's a 22 GTS. As we are so close to 2023, is it unwise to accept this car? With interest rates way up and demand slowing, I worry what new builds will look like down the road.

Likewise, my car has been in transit to Emden since 7/20 (actual). Arrival Emden Port (estimated) 7/22 and on vessel (estimated) 11/04.

Mine now shows 11/25 as well. I think your question comes down to emotion more so than practicality or money (although I don’t know how financing plays into your deal). I’m not aware of any significant model year changes for ‘23. And there’s always a wait when ordering a Porsche to your own specifications. As my dealer said to me (when I bought my ‘20 Panamera ST hybrid) “nobody needs a Porsche”. I say, hang in there (unless the financing aspect of your deal has become prohibitive).

Now I’m in November delivery. Came all the way from June delivery. Last week was showing November 4th, now it’s November 25th. I’ll be happy if I get it by new year. Can’t drive 992 during winter.

TYD still saying Nov 4 for me through Baltimore, but last update was 10/5 In Transit To Emden. I think the ship leaves tomorrow, crossing fingers that mine is on it.

Which ship though? I have 10/14 Vessel date too, but the schedules don't show anything on that date. The closest was the 10/11 SLF Conductor that left port already. Next ship for the east coast US is the Aristotle on 10/25.

Not really sure. According the schedule here -- Violet Ace leaves Emden 10/14 and arrives Baltimore Port 10/29 by way of Halifax.

That is hopeful for you. I'm located right between Baltimore and Davisville, and I have the same 10/14 date, but my port is Davisville. I wouldn't mind if they swung the car up from MD though...

Mine just went into production (Oct 11th). Per TYD, it will arrival at Emden Port on Oct 21st and at Davisville, RI on Nov 11th. Hope it is accurate but highly doubt it.

Hope that is the case and with 12v battery installed.

UPDATE:- (Note: I am in UK)

- ordered Oct '21
-1st slot offered was July - turned it down - too soon
- Order freeze mid May
- Order acknowledged at end May
- Received 'scheduled for production' notification received 8th July
- Was told the car would be production complete 30th Sept In late August
- As of this week - production complete now supposedly 14th October;
- Official delivery at the moment is 28th October; but my OPC reckons this will slip by at least 1 week - realistically more....
- So earliest hand-over-of-keys around 9-14th November

Time will tell.

My dates are pretty muchthe same as yours.

My RWD was scheduled for production at the end of June and should have been completed 16th September and delivered a few weeks later. Now we’re scheduled to finish production 14th October with a delivery to OPC 11th November.

My OPC seem to think that the last hold-up was to allow it to be built with battery. I’ve also spec’d Bose and they seem confident I’ll get it as it’s an October build. Seems it’s an issue for November build on.

Well, time to leave this thread. I'm a December delivery now, having been postponed from November 25 to December 5. Bah humbug this holiday season.

Mine got pushed again from NOV 25th to DEC 2nd. I'm expecting from port of Baltimore. Dealer in Chicago, IL. Still says ready for transport (07/25/2022)
