It seems the OBDEleven app/dongle is starting to support the Taycan. Haven’t played around too much, but it seems work is being done, or maybe this is all old. I haven’t had OBDEleven that long. I know it’s done some things with the E-Tron in the past.

I recently got the VCDS.
Haven’t found the rear light with DRL.

The problem is, many coding requires a security code. The codes aren’t all known..
I will dive into it a bit more soon.

Please keep us posted on what else you are able to find & code.
I am in 2 minds whether to go with VCDS or OBDEleven... or maybe both - whatever gets the job done.

I am mainly looking for... coding the below:

1) Turn Rear Lights ON along with Front DRLs
2) Change Turn Indicator flash count from 3 to 5
3) Start Car in last mode used (i.e. Range, Sport, Sport+) rather than default Normal
4) Increase length of Front seat backward movement - when exiting car for an even easier exit..
5) Increase vibration on steering wheel - when car drifts onto side lanes, LC/KLA,etc..
6) Decrease/ Increase brightness of Front DRL

Honestly these are some very good Quality of Life recommendations. Well thought.

Would be nice to send them over to Porsche as customer feedback.

Thanks for the screenshots…

1) Are these apps specifically from the Taycan (or general apps available for any car)?
2) Were you able to make changes to the Taycan
3) Does the app auto-detect the Car model?
I think they are specific.
I have not tried.
I believe it did on first connection.

I bought this to make changes to my Audi Q7 and really haven’t played too much with the Taycan. Was hoping others would make the mistakes so I could learn from them. Playing with fire I think since my (wife’s) car is still under warranty. Will figure out more this weekend.

I tried making changes with obd11 to chassis and it didn't work. Taycan is not shown as a supported car on their site.

I should qualify, I meant this for VW in general, in my case Audi. I have made no attempt on the Porsche.
All coding depends on the individual car.
